Empowerment! It's a powerful word that stirs of an array of emotions, ideas and associations within the mind. According to Merriam-Webster's online dictionary, here is one of the definitions of "Empowerment",

"to promote the self-actualization or influence of"

Prior to my experiences on Steemit, I always felt like empowerment was something that was only bestowed upon any individual by virtue of their personal success in life. While that still may hold true, the avenue by which we arrive at the point of empowerment may differ, depending on a number of factors.

I believe that Steemit can be a source of empowerment for all those who wish to experience a change in their life! Most of what
I have gained through Steemit has not only been from my personal efforts, but from the community that shares a philosophy of giving and receiving, as we lift one another up higher and higher!

Does this mean hat we sit idly by and wait for others to do all the work? Not at all...We contribute in a way that is unique and personal and others do the same. Together, we rise higher until we reach our goals and dreams that we all wish to achieve and experience in its fullness. That is a true opportunity that I believe can be available to all of us.

As with anything, there aren't guarantees but that's life and and that is something that we should take into an account. But at any rate, we have much to be encouraged about, in my humble opinion.

I want you to all know how grateful I am to all of you for how you have empowered me and I truly wish to continue to empower you all in every way I can, as well! Thanks so much, my friends! We rise together!
