Three of the Top Trending Posts are From Asia -- and thats Awesome
For anyone using Steem, seeing growth patterns is exciting.
I just noticed that three of the top trending posts are coming from Asian countries with Asian languages ( #cn and #kr ). Stoked to see this for a number of reasons.
- increased growth rate
- huge market opening
- greater opportunity to bridge personal relationships between West and East

I show my students in Vietnam posts from Steemit in many of my classes. They are very curious about it. I am learning more so I can develope more steemians in Vietnam!
I firmly believe Steem is one of the most effective tools to spread the paradigm shift of cryptocurrencies and the radical concept of 'be your own bank' .
my paradigm shifted when i discovered bitcoin a few years ago, but likely 90% of the GLOBAL population has no idea what bitcoin is and even fewer could explain effectively how/why it works.
Steem is a cryptocurrency redpill and more and more people are throwing them into the mouths of the masses. Keep up the teaching! :)

probably a combination of factors, but regardless, it increases the market cap and valuation per STEEM token.

It could be because of the overall growth and interest of currencies in the asian countries. Just look at Antshares, this coin has been on fire too, probably for the same reason?
