RE: Steemit traffic going wild everywhere... now that STEEM is back into the top 10 CryptoCurrency Market Capitalizations

ATTENTION!!!

I encourage everyone to begin flagging all posts by @gavvet. He is repeating content only to suck up rewards knowing he has plenty of suckers following him that will upvote regardless of how shitty the content is. To ensure your -100% posts do not get flagged you can use this page to ensure the post is within the period a downvote cannot be countered: https://steemdb.com/labs/pending

It does seem like there is a problem with reward amounts when price of steem hikes up. Maybe users should be able to put a limit on how much reward their post can get since after price hike, autovotes are worth much more than before.

Getting 200 dollars for content like this does not benefit the platform as whole.

E: and nothing personal against you gavvet, I'm just thinking with the platforms interest in mind.

there is such possibility in steem, but it is not exposed on steemit.

Last post has over 800 eyeballs that would tend to differ with your assessment.... these are Search Engine Optimized

LOL "Search Engine Optimized" my ass... I'm building up an army to counter the bullshit votes you're receiving. Unfortunately for you, there's NOTHING you can do in the last 12 hours before payout. Enjoy!! I know I will!!

Isn't steemit wonderful?

It can provide enjoyment in so many ways.

Flag away all you like, you and all your army, since the price rise this stuff is overpaid anyway!

So at least it trends where it can be read and create a little optimism and then you all get to trim it down to size and have fun while doing it!!! Two bites at the cherry, create optimism first and provide enjoyment later.

So is that $1.42 per view? I don't know what the going rate is. Is that fair?

Agreed the ratio is ridiculous and still climbing due to the external rise in the price of STEEM, It was not so when this was posted, however how much more content do you find on steemit with over 100 comments, and more views than votes?

That is where the eyeballs differ with @berniesanders assessment regarding the quality and how many of those votes accrue

Would you consider setting a max-payout?

Max-payout? Is that in development? Not a bad idea.

While steemit.com fails to offer a max-payout UI option, here are a few workarounds:

  1. Keep posting, let it self-correct. If the reward really is too high, it's not like it's your fault. People should pay attention and fix their curation logic.
  2. Use Decline Payout every so often so that over the course of many days, your payouts are limited.
  3. Start posting with streemian.com (Scheduled Posts) and set a Maximum accepted payout in the Advanced Options.
  4. Use my ruby script to post, which also allows you to set a max payout.

This is good to know, my work around is @berniesanders, he has been managing my max payouts, for the last couple of months, for me by ensuring that they get downvoted appropriately... He was just a little slack and slow figuring out this last 12 hours thing

I have advocated for max payout for a while.

Yet you've never used it because you're a greedy twat.

Did I know about it, but now I have you and your army to take care of it for me ;)

Now any trader or potential investor that searches for "Steemit Traffic" will get the two articles(2 and 3 on google just behind Alexa) I put up specifically for this purpose.

On the search terms "steem traffic" they are 1 & 2 on google
