Group E
Spartak Moscow, Sevilla, Liverpool, Maribor
Russian winners will face Sevilla from Spain, Liverpool from the UK and Maribor from Slovenia.
Sevilla
I believe Sevilla will take the first spot in this group based on their experience of going far in International cups. The three time European Champion will look to win the first Champions League with a strong side consisting of defensive mid Steven N'zonzi, and new acquirees Luis Muriel and Spanish duo Nolito and Jesus Navas.

Liverpool
The Merseyside team will have a difficult time-fighting Spartak for the second spot. Philippe Coutinho and Sadio Mane will lead the way with striker Roberto Firmino. This Liverpool side will see a new face in Egyptian star Mohamed Salah coming from the Italian side of Roma. It's always a pleasure to hear the "You Will Never Walk Alone" with the whole stadium joining, supporting their team. Does anyone else get the chills from this?
Spartak will take the third place.
Group F
Shakhtar Donetsk, Manchester City, Napoli, Feyenoord
This group consists of Ukranian winners Shkhtar Donetsk, British giants Man City, Napoli and Dutch side Feyernoord.
Manchester City
Will this be the year that Man City reaches the finals? Well, their $283 Million in transfers might help. They added Monaco duo Benjamin Mendy and Bernardo Silva, British Right back Kyle Walker, keeper Ederson, and Brazilians Danilo & Douglas Luiz. The new signings alongside manager genius Pep Guardiola, Kevin De Bruyne, Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus, they indeed have a reason to scare rivals this year.

Napoli
Napoli will face competition for the second spot in this group. They have Slovakian Marek Hamsik, Lorenzo Insigne, and Dries Mertens to fight for their case. Alongside Jose Callejon, this Napoli side has been together for a while so their chemistry will show off when playing against Man City which has had their team change over the years with so many new signings.
Group G
Monaco, Porto, Besiktas, Leipzig
French winners will face Porto, Besikas from Turkey and German surprise Leipzig.
Monaco
It seems that every year Monaco loses some of its best players to other European giants, but they manage to make young players better to be able to compete. Who remembers when Monaco was the one buying expensive players? They have made $211 Million in revenues just for selling players. Benjamin Mendy and Bernardo Silva went to Man City and defensive midfield Tiemoué Bakayoko left for Chelsea. This team did add Belgian youngster Youri Tielemans, while keeping French star Kylian Mbappé (for now) and Falcao.

Lepizig
There is going to be some competition for the second spot between the rest of the teams, but I believe in Cinderella stories, and Leipizig has had a good story for now. coming to the Bundesliga from the second division in 2016, they reached the Champions League in their first year back at the top German league. Naby Keïta and Timo Werner are some of the reasons why Leipzig reached this stage, but we have to give credit to the whole team and Austrian manager Ralph Hasenhüttl for pulling this off. How far will this German side go in this competition?

Group H
Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Tottenham, APOEL
The death group. This might be the most competitive group in the whole competition due to the caliber and backgrounds of the teams. Champions League winners Real Madrid will play against Borussia Dortmund which reached the finals in this competition in 2013. Tottenham has had a strong side the past years and will have to work hard to reach the next round. Apoel is known for beating good teams, but will it be enough to beat one or two?
Real Madrid
What can I say about this team? They have the most complete side in the world all around.Cristiano Ronaldo comes from winning the Uefa best player of the year, Gareth Bale, Luka Modric, Karim Benzema, Isco, Toni Kroos. Youngsters Marco Asensio, Casemiro, Mateo Kovasic, and new signings Theo Hernandez and Dani Ceballos. Real Madrid hasnt made their key signing like they usually, will they try to get Monaco star Mpappe?
Borussia Dortmund
Second time in two years that the Dortmund side has to play against Real Madrid in the group stage. Dortmund actually took the first place in the group stage with 14 points against Reals 12. Dembele is out for $125 Million to Barcelona, making him the second most expensive player in history. SO far they have added right winger Andrey Yarmolenko and Max Phillipp. With Marco Reus, Pulisic and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Borussia will make a run in this years competition.
Tottenham Spurs
Because this is such a competitive group, we dont know who will take the second place. Tottenham has been in great form the past years, coming in second place in the Premier League. Yes they sold Kyle Walker but he wasnt really a starter, Mauricio Pochettino has been using Trippier before he left and now they added Colombian Davinson Sánchez from Ajax. Dele Alli, Harry Kane and Danish Christian Eriksen will make a run for the trophy starting from the group stage.
