A topic that matters to me on Steemit? ALL actually!

What is our wealth, except the fact that each of us is unique of course?

Obviously the fact that we are curious, and that we are permanently directed by our feelings and our emotions (that's probably, I mean certainly, why we love storytelling).
Then, if I wanna write with sense, on what matters most for me, it means cutting me to smeethreens!

Why?

Because in a way, every subject is linked to another. This is the reason why I was immediately attracted by Internet (around 1991 if I remember), thanks to hyperlinks. As I always adored the information, reading, writing, sharing and learning, faster than ever. It was tremendous and still is (despite what we call infobesity).

Our world is overconnected. Then, it would be the opportunity to be more clever, at last, especially at that difficult time for the planet Earth. Our unique one!

Humanity is growing and growing. Powerty too (sorry for the lapsus: Poverty I meant), whatever the media say. I live in France for exemple, a country where people are the most numerous in Europe to take medecine (not me), chemical drugs (against depression or to fall asleep). Explain me this oddity! Aren't they happy? Why aren't they happy, in a country which is said the fifth largest economy of the world?

As Shakespeare said, in Hamlet:

Hey (Aye), there's the rub, for in that sleep of death,
What dreams may come
when we have shuffled of this mortal coil.
Must give us pause
There's the respect that makes calamity
of so long life!

Well, despite an activity based on entrepreneurship and Art, I'm just an observer among others, and, I know, I would probably be qualified as utopist or dreamer by some. Anyway, I dont know where I'm going in terms of destiny – like each humain being on this planet – but at least, I know where I'm coming from!

The point is, even if my main reason of life is poetry, that I always wonder about what I consider the MAIN subject: our Environment, defining topic, or should be.

Actually, I am a bit surprised to see that both tags "ecology" and "environment" don't appear on Steemit (yet), while these notions base the context of our lives! Of course, there is "Nature" but most of the time, the posts show photographs without thought. And there is no tag about "climate" change, nor "earth" or "planet".

It is somewhat worrying that most people on Steemit seem more interested by votes in order to make money, and prefer to show up and to talk about them rather than trying to think about what they could do to save the planet, without which we wouldn't be. We are a part of it for a while.
Hoping that next months will show a new trend.

This summer, I'm reading a book of Paul Jorion, a Belgium sociologist (actually living in my town, lol), also observer of economy. He worked for a while for US banks, where he was the first to see the crisis of the subprimes arriving early in 2007.

After many very interesting books edited, his last one is called: Le dernier qui s'en va éteint la lumière, (literally: The Last One Who Goes Away Extinguishes the Light). I will talk about it in a futur post.
But actually, another one is coming soon called To A New World:

But I can already assume that the content of this book joins my vision which is mine for years.

Anyway, just remember that only Nature is the strongest. Human beings are strange animals, the only who have the consciousness of the limit of their life.
That is why maybe, they often act in a talked nonsense way, destroying everything around them . . .

And that is why all the tags – or kind of subjects – we can find on Steemit, have my interest.
I suppose, then, that my next posts will be different BUT linked between us. In a same vision. ;)
