RE: The Churn Problem
- I'm beginning to wonder if Ned and Dan are intentionally slowing down the growth of the platform so that it doesn't get too big too fast... The userbase it has now are all techys, anarchists and crypto heads making it easy for us to imagine where steemit is going. But to the outside world this probably won't be what attracts them to the platform. Perhaps the platform needs to be ready for certain types of users...
- Please read the link I attached under "I suggest we use keys and I mean physical keys you hold in your hand". This link purposes a user friendly solution to the password problem that is also extremely secure.
- Somebody here suggested that the home page could adopt an algorithm like the one Google News has. What that would mean is the top three trending posts would be at the top, next would be the top post of a trending tag, next the top post of the next trending tag, and so on... This would mean you could see a top photography post, life post, perhaps money, or whatever happens to be the most used tags. This would make steemit look like a much more diverse community of bloggers that would make it easier for a newbie to visualise being successful here.

- Who knows. I've suspected for a while that they are in their dolphin recruiting stage, and will move on to more mainstream users once they enhance the site and move out of beta.
- I'll check it out 😀
- Agreed. I have ideas very similar to this in my list of feature requests that I put together. You can check it out here.
