So, here we are on a promising new fresh platform. The insides seem clean enough and the incentive of ACTUAL MONEY is the main pull for new traffic to the site.

What I want to point out is the fact that the herd is coming and you better hold onto your butts.

What do I mean? Click on any random article posted and you will find everyone is patting each other on the back and kissing eachother's butts. Everyone wants a nice upvote to get that +$0.01. There is a lingering musky odor of political correctness that permeates every article and its comment section. And its about to get infected with dank internet memes and calls of "faggot", etc.

You see, youtube once was a naive place that promoted 'creativity' and sharing 'your experiences' for the 'betterment' of others. What has become of it now? Its a cesspool of rich internet culture and its captains are sinking it to the bottom of the ocean maybe purposefully (which is a whole nuther topic beyond the scope of this topic). Youtube has become a sort of trailer park full of prank videos, Elsagate, KPop (ughhh), preppers, religious rants, youtuber meltdowns and drama both real and staged, ((((((((gggaaaaammmmeeeerrrsssss))))))))), PC, anti PC, meltdowns, pedophiles, pedogate, horse dildo reviews, people dying, ISIS getting BTFO, etc, etc, etc ,etc, etc.

What I'm saying is. Enjoy this clean template that exists in its current state because that is all going to change once the majority of people catch onto the fact that STEEMIT pays and pays WELL and even has its own crypto. Its a win win but when everyone starts the great youtube exodus its going to get messy, its going to get ugly. Original backers and supporters of STEEMIT are going to be trampled over and forgotten.

Don't think this is some kind of negative rant because it isn't. It's a reality check. If you all want to keep this site as clean as it is you are kidding yourselves. I love this new platform. I posted 2 comments and got $2.46. I have seen posts less than an hour old generate near $1000 (which is suspect and will likely be filtered out by STEEMIT in the future and cause backlash and drama for people to justify posting SOMETHING to pay for their mountain dew addiction....etc etc etc).

Enjoy yourselves. Plan Ahead. Expect the Best. Prepare for the Worst.
