Surge of Venezuelans arrives at Steemit
It is no secret that in the last few weeks a large number of Venezuelans (including me) have joined this platform, we can see it daily in the welcoming topics which fills us with pride as the national community is growing, and one way or another is a support between us and the contents that are published, since some of them are the pure truth of the situation that our country is going through, and in part many of these new users are trying to overcome the economic crisis. Social that is currently being lived.
But this also leads us to consider Is this massive growth of Venezuelans on the platform really positive?em>
Whereas most of these new users are not leaving a contribution to the community. Personally, I think that more initiatives should be created to educate new users who, like many, came here looking for a way out of the current situation in Venezuela.
Some ideas that occur to me are:
* Create post with educational content about basic concepts handled in our platform, explained in a simple and friendly way.
* Create support groups in applications such as Discord, where they do not simply hang post waiting for votes, but provide personalized support or guidance.
* Explain in a simplified way the use of the tools we have in Steemit
And last but not least, make it clear that Steemit is not the same as other networks, where trash content is bombarded daily. Here we seek to grow through good content.
To promote the use of our platform to be "Mainstreem" in our country in a positive way, and thus be able to demonstrate all the talent we have to export.
