Never Underestimate the Financial and Social Benefits of Commenting on Steemit - $346.25 PROOF

Steemit is not just about publishing content but building a community where we communicate, debate and build trust! - At least that is how I look at it.

Dear fellow members,

My recent commenting experience made me write this article. Just a few thoughts I would like share with you on commenting blog posts on Steemit. Let us start with the fact that I am not a very productive person when it comes to writing for many reasons. English is not my native tongue so I need to put a bit more effort playing with the words. Dyslexia does not help either and I am more of a thinker or dreamer hence I am not particularly active unless I feel the vibe, money does not help this either. So I am not writing now for the sake of getting “my post a day” submitted.

My first earning blog post on Steemit was my previous one about STEEM ATMs trying to find new ways to buy STEEM for cash without overcomplicating things. To see the upvotes, the comments and the rewards that the article generated was magical and very inspiring. After that post of mine I had to sort out my ETH/ETC separation and spend some time doing other things as well. I still kept reading blogs, new ideas, upvoting and commenting contents as much as my limited time allowed me. But I have not had a chance to publish any articles so I was very surprised when I found out today that my wallet balance went up! Now I know after I had a look at it that the comment I made 3 days ago generated $346.25! Needless to say that put a very big smile on my face!

At first I did not even want to get involved in a conversation that is all about “whales” and “inequality” and such because I have already seen so many articles and debates about this and I kind of find it boring by now. Anyway, I wanted to make a difference and decided to share my thoughts with the writer this time on this subject. I wanted to make him see Steemit from the other side. Looking at things from another perspective always brings in new light. I am so glad I did it and it is so good to see that commenting is appreciated on Steemit.

Many times I find the comments actually more interesting and engaging than the post itself, especially when you see some intelligent ones. These are the voices of the readers. Less formal communications and debates between the members. Commenting is another way to express your thoughts and also to understand how others think. Of course you will see some trolls and bots but they will hopefully disappear very soon.

Thanks for reading!

Kind regards,
Andrew

Congrats bro, I'm happy to see people succeed on steemit, I try always to comment good content and yes some time I get couple pennies on my comments, but before I comment I read the post , I'm not commenting with "wow" "thank you", until now I did not get as much you get but I still trying, thank you for sharing hope

Thank you so much for reading it and the kind words! I think it is very important to share stories good ones and bad ones as well. We can learn from them. They can inspire us! I wish you the very best!

Thank bro for this kind answer :)

Thank you for the kind comment! :)

wow andrew that is a amazing story, although I have posted some articles nothing much has come of it at all but Im not the only one....well done bud and wishing you more success in the future.

Hi there,
Thanks for reading! Glad you like my story. Just read your intro, that bike is awesome! I wish you the very best too!

thanks andrew I love my bike lol

Congratulations for your comment on @dollarvigilante's post! I am glad you have a chance to experience this feeling!

Yeah, I'm all about trying to get people involved in the community. That's why I did a couple of posts already where I ask people to leave me a comment and I'll give them an upvote. I don't want to just go around clicking the up arrow on things I like because to be honest, there isn't that much that gets me interested, and I want people to start recognizing each other's user names and such. Plus it could just be a fun way to strike up a conversation.

Thank you for reading my story. I am very grateful for your upvote and comment! Just finished watching your into video and I liked it very much! You really mentioned the importance of commenting and many other great stuff. It is a wonderful thing you do for your Dad too! Hope Steemit grows into something very great and turns into a fantastic community. I really like the wooden cabin, BTW in which you are filming! :)

Haha, thank you very much for the kind words. It's actually just an unfinished attic but I like hanging out up there.

No wonder you like it, it looks amazing! I myself a big fun of log homes and nature!

Love it, So true... Sorry I can't make this comment "more interesting and engaging than the post itself." But I still love the post.

Thanks for reading it! :)

Followed. I'm doing some data analysis predicting the intelligence of writers on Steemit. You will very likely be a future whale if you keep up your post quality. Good luck.

I see comments as an essential part of any social or blogging site. I want feedback on what I write. That's how I learn new things. Glad to hear that comments have value here. I'm writing a few on posts I find interesting.

Thanks for reading and your comment.

Cheers. I know it's good to get comments that show the person actually read the post :)
