RE: Is Steemit worth the effort for the 99 percent? Do we need a Steemit tax system?

That same 99% don't read the stuff one of those 99% writes.. if people don't read your stuff they won't rate it, it's what the herd follows where the money goes to.
You might make superb content, but if no one reads it it has no value.
Getting the exposure of your high quality content followed by the following you gain from that, is the hardest work, sure if you were one of the first that would've been easier, if you already had a big following on a different platform it would be even easier.

I'm no one to speak, cause i haven't put high quality content on steemit at all and certainly have no following or made big money, but i'm not a writer at all. my guess is don't think too much about the money keep putting out great content consistently and slowly but surely something might come of it.

But since you sound like a statist/socialist there's probably a lot of educative content around on steemit for you to read.

I'm definitely no Socialist. My point about "taxing" the top earners on here a very tiny amount is in the hope of giving noobies the means to give more back in to Steemit while at the same time giving them some hope. I understand that a cryptocurrency needs to grow naturally but I'm very anxious to see Steem and other similar platforms do very well. Any thorn in the side of the globalists and I'm all for it and I think Steemit is a great idea, I've had enough of the Google/Twitter/Facebook monopolies.
