Mining is a fun way of earning steem power. But competition is fierce. Rabbit was the dominating force before supercomputing's exploit. After the hardfork supercomputing came back with the power of domination. However, he leaves about 50% slots open for the rest miners.
Now Rabbit is back and is over powering supercomputing. With the power of the two, they leave less than 20% of the slots for the rest of the miners. As far I am concern mining is over for most of us. And it is so true that ONLY THE STRONG Will SURVIVE!

I'm running the miner just to see how it works. I'm not expecting to make much. Where do I see who is getting each block? I don't really understand what the miner output is telling me.

Mining is very difficult now. If you are lucky, you might find one block a day.
