RE: I would like to invite some veteran steemians like @ned, @dan to India to solve our problems.
@maya7 I am also from India. I am following you since I joined this platform a few months ago.
At present Indian government will not allow cryptocurrencies to rule because this government is not in the favor of a decentralized system as this government is doing a lot of things to centralize everything. In this pursuit Government of India is mulling over to issue its own cryptocurrency, which definitely would not be decentralized.
I don't know what @ned, @dan or @firepower etc can do in this matter but I am sure GoI (or any government) will not allow cryptos to rule this world.
they can only resist it for so long , where there is profit to be made people will force government's hand.
Remember notebandi ?
@itstime government is more powerful then people because people are not aware of what government does. Notebandi aka demonetization was a disaster but government didn't loose people's faith. When government will issue its own crypto, people will rush to it as they would thing it legal and promising.
Marketforces will make it not so attractive , it will be just a digital form of INR.
I am positive that it's only a matter of time , they will launch their govt crypto , it will get pummeled in ground then the door to decentralized crypto will open for people.
They just want the monopoly for little bit longer ...to cash out the masses with govt crypto.
let us see what is in the womb of future.
agreed and cheers
You are right,if easy exchange sustains anyhow,it will be great.I have no idea ,how to deal with p2p exchange in near future.Anyway thanks for the sweet vigit, nice to meet you dear.
Nobody know what will be the future but I am sure governments worldwide will become more tyrant.
Thanks , I appreciate your idea, but you know if the presence of smart people may convert the climax .Happy to hear from you dear.
Smart people work for powerful people and powerful people run governments. These so called smart people are opportunists. Who know this cryptocurrency business would not be a part of their evil design by which they are siphoning money from the masses (it is a joke).
There's nothing people tagged in this post can do to change the views of the govt unfortunately. Exchanges are already fighting through legal channels, that's all we can do to oppose any govt ruling. They have the absolute power otherwise to impose any mandate they want. We can either follow their instructions or defy. Defy we must! That's it.
Having said that cryptos are here to stay, and few are likely to go mainstream as payment systems in the years to come.
For the record, Dan has left this platform and has nothing to do with it other than selling the tokens he holds. Ned is likely to do nothing specific towards India anytime soon as long as our laws are hostile towards crypto-growth.
