RE: Is there an ugly truth about steemit? Or only people that don't understand how it works...
It's just amazing to spread wealth, across the globe, however small, support great posters, discuss, and fill your feed with people you want to follow and will stimulate your mind every time you log in. You'll find some amazing development, some amazing tools that plugin to enhance your use of the site, and find that your posts work across multiple platforms.
The 'get rich quick' angle is never really worth it, but like anything you can build a following here and find your thing, that moves beyond Steemit. Of course community is here and thriving, if you look in good places.
SP delegation is something to check out. It's an amazing aspect that again, spreads wealth and really supports projects /ideas/development great and small .
Don't be put off. Life is what you make it. Steem is reflection of this, and of new capitalism, opportunity to reach people.
First I want to thank you for trying to help me understand. I'm not frustrated or anything just really want to try to understand how this works. I see here things like ratings escalating without people do almost nothing(apparently) and after all this time I'm only with a rating of 25...what is the difference? What am I doing wrong? My questions comes from a place of doubt and not from a place of trying to get rich fast. I love being here, just cannot understand somethings.
ratings i guess come from engagement, both comments and posts. Not researched exactly the algorithm for this, so can't say much more for now.
Yes I understand that, and also don't know how the algorithm works! All I know is that are things here that don't make much sense for beginners, and that is difficult to grow here on Steemit..
