Will The Euphoria Of Steemit Come Back Again?

in #steemit4 years ago

A while ago, I don't know what kind of wind I tried to check again how much the price of Steem Dollars (SBD) to Rupiah (Rp / IDR). Actually, after I no longer actively playing Steemit (around the end of 2018), I still occasionally try to idly check the development of the SBD to Rupiah exchange chart. The progression continues to decline day by day, so the last time I checked about a month ago, the figure touched the range of Rp. 8,000 - Rp. 17,000 for 1 SBD.

Honestly, one of the reasons why I'm no longer excited about playing Steemit is because the exchange rates are decreasing day by day. Even though in the early phases when I started getting acquainted with steemit, I tried not to pay attention to the number of SBD obtained, but rather tried to learn to produce quality writing or posts, but still undeniably pursued the SBD reward which was then highly valued. When converted to conventional currency, it is certainly one of the reasons for continuing to write or post. And (maybe) in my opinion, that reason is also shared by most steemit players in general.

And accidentally, a while ago, when I tried to check the conversion of SBD to IDR on the www.coingecko.com site again, I was shocked when I saw the value on the screen which touched the price range of Rp. 54,000 for 1 SteemDolar (SBD). Even on December 2, 2020 yesterday it had touched the price of Rp. 63,000. This is of course quite surprising for me who is very unfamiliar with Cryptocurrency.

Maybe the title above sounds a little naive. It's too quick to conclude just by looking at the developments in the past 1 or 2 days. However, I and even all of the steemit players certainly have big hopes in our heart, so that the steemit media will be big again like a few years ago. And again his name is echoed not only as a medium of friendship, free discussion, a source of information with useful writings, but also as a means that at least can help financially during the Covid-19 pandemic and an increasingly difficult economy as it is today. Hopefully.

Thank you for taking the time to read my new article on Steemit after not posting for a long time.
