Gentoo Is an open source, free, fast and highly configurable Linux that can be automatically optimized and customized. Gentoo uses BSD ports. The entire system of Gentoo is built from source code. Since Gentoo is providing a number of choices so users can use according to their need.

Gentoo is an open source Linux distribution. Free to use and for installation there is guide available it seems pretty cool . Open source projects are always sounds safe and secure so Gentoo seems like too
