First thing that comes in my mind when I saw Vocaloid is Hatsune Mikku.

Pros:

  • Since the item / technology software was produced by Yamaha we can be assured that this is a world class quality already. They are famous in the line of music may it be instrument or tools.

  • For music creators this one can be used since they have a built in voice for you. ( You will not be worrying if you sounded not so good the voice synthesizer will do it for you with their voice and singing styles.

Cons:

  • Costly haha the starter pack is 10,000 JPY and converting that to USD $90+.

Other than that I don't see any other concerns.

    Yes, miku is the first voice bank, there are many new voice bank now, also have a mobile version.
