As a Civil Engineer, I believe one of the most dangerous jobs in the construction site is lifting construction materials or equipment. Normally, a crane is being used for lifting such things but for small-scale projects like building a house, using cranes can be very costly and impractical to use, so workers are opting to carry loads themselves.

Using Mule (Material Unit Lift Enhancer), lifting works will be easier for workers. This will enable lifting works safer and more accurate in the construction site. This will also save the workers from having fatigues due to lifting construction materials.

Benefits of MULE

Will definitely help the construction workforce free from lifting injuries
Increased lifting productivity and accuracy
Reduces construction waste that may be due to lifting
Ensure that the lifted construction materials are in good condition

Ideally, MULE can only be used for lifting light construction materials like hollow blocks. It can also be used for stocking manufactured items since it can only carry up to 135 lbs or around 60 kilograms which is equivalent to the mass of an adult person. The weight capacity is the only downside I believe this construction robot has.

First time for me to check this kind of thing @smaeunabs, anyway i got interest on this kind of lifting equipment so i did some personal checking on their website and found out some positive usage on it. Please check on my personal review below :

Pros :

It can really help labor workers or construction workers to simplify their work and even improve their work force
An equipment that can really gives big improvement on productivity and can also be more consistent than the manual way
It can also reduced some construction inquries to workers and laborers
Repetitive works will be eliminated for it can be done by this kind of equipment and workers will never be over fatique on lifting heavy objects anymore

Cons :

This item is intended only purely on construction or any establishments that lifts heavy objects in repetition
