It looks like you charge the battery by connecting it to a USB port, and then it operates the fingerprint recognition lock. Very modern and high tech! Nice find!i

I can see business travellers snapping this up because it doesn't need keys (which have the potential to be lost) and because fingerprints are unique, no-one else can open the lock.
