Definitely a step in the right direction. This has the potential to make interactions with your wallet more easier and understandable for everybody. On the other side I really have a problem with it running via WhatsApp. Since WhatsApp is now owned by Facebook I do not trust them a bit regarding data collection and stuff so I see many people having a problem with that.
