What is Blinkit?
Blinkit is a notification software that can be used to give to regular and widely available devices a Steem purpose.
Supported devices:
- USB Sticks (status light)
- Philips HUE lamps
- Sonoff devices
- Arduino Boards or compatible (Genuino, etc...)
- Camera status LED blink
- Take photos on upvote/post/follow
- Logitech RGB/Backlight Keyboards (new)
Blinkit can look for new Steem account Upvotes and Followers, and it can notify on new Posts made by a user.
More devices will be added in the near future.
Blinkit is free and open source, and can be downloaded from the Blinkit Github page:

Thank you for moderating my post @chronocrypto !! this project has been created by @techtek and i am an active contributor in this project (i did all the Arduino integration part and still implementing new things). try it out after the new release which will happen soon ( couple days), i did implement new things in Arduino :D

Do you mean Steem as in the Steem blockchain? Wow I didn't know such an IoT exist for Steem.

Hey thanks for your comment!! Using Blinkit you could get notified about new upvotes or new followers or if you want you can get notified if someone you follow is posting something new(on steemit) . The notifications can be received on many IOT devices such as Philips Hue lamps, Sonoff smart switches, Logitech gaming keyboard, webcam integrated led, arduino boards and many more to come soon. So if you would lile to receive notifications without having to refresh your steemit page everytime, now you can with Blinkit.
