Walmart is one of the giants of supermarkets worldwide.
Like every company, they look for a better rentability and a greater efficiency..
Today I present you BOSSANOVA.
It is a robot manufactured by the company that calls the same name.
This company is working to provide walmart with its robots.
These robots are able to control the inventory of store shelves and identify those items that are misplaced or mislabeled, and have LiDAR laser scanners, which allow them to build an image of the environment around them and avoid obstacles at the time to move. Once the faults or errors are identified, the robots transmit the data obtained to the employees, who are responsible for replacing the shelves or correcting the identified errors.

This is the next step in automation of supermarkets. The technology going into this robot will pave the way for many more uses to come. Eventually, many roles in a supermarket will be automated. At the moment, this would make the job easier for staff.
