A Steem-Fueled Product Hunt
@steemhunt is a platform where you can discover new products and receive rewards from the Steem system. This website is meant for the user to discover new products, comment, and upvote them, in which they are rewarded STEEM tokens for contributing.
How can it Change the Industry?
This platform encourages people to dig for products that either haven't gotten exposure yet, or new proposals or ideas that are interesting. Steemhunt culminates all of these interesting products and puts them on display for people to get for themselves, or upvote to further increase the exposure. Being part of the Steemhunt community provides an outlet for exposure, and also provides competition for people to upvote significant products.
An big difference in comparison to other decentralized programs on the blockchain is that ProductHunt is similar to platforms like Reddit or Facebook, where all the rewards go to the platform itself instead of the dedicated community members.
