The Ledger HW1 Hardware Wallet is the most simple hardware wallet on the market.

It is nothing more than a USB “smartcard” you plug into your computers USB port.

Uses the Ledger Wallet Bitcoin app the other Ledger devices use.

Has the convenience of being so small you can put it anywhere.

Holds only Bitcoin.

The private keys are NEVER exposed, not even to you.

This item is discontinued on the Official Ledger Store but it is still available on the authorized retailer Crypto HW Wallets, available at this link:

    Pros :

    • It has a minimalist design and some enterprise features
    • It is a one secure wallet for those who have low budgets
    • You can easily store safely your bitcoins offline
    • It does provide multi-signature transactions to make sure that you have a secured Bitcoin wallet
    • If can easily be backup and restore just in case you lose it
    • The microchip itself is locked with a PIN code and each transactions are verified by anti-malware second factor
    • It does ensure that your privacy is well protected

    Cons :

    • A great product for those who want protection and security on their bitcoins. I don't see any cons on this.
