Well - FB is a good place to "keep connected" - with people from elementary school & other internet platforms. It should be there for a while :)
For pictures I've been on 500px for a long time - soon 2mio views - and one sold pic - yeah...
When I have time - youpic.com & gurushots.com
Then some time on Insta (but starts to look too much like FB)
I'm also in linkedIn, but I don't see that as a place for interaction...

In fb - it's my groups that keep me there. People actually talk in them and I get all kinds of tips and tricks on various topics. The art sites are vanity projects for me. I have an account at insta, but I don't think my work fits the platform.
For LinkedIn - I'm using the LinkedIn share feature here at steemit on my posts that make sense to be seen on my LinkedIn profile. I have no idea if that gets me any views or any benefit but it is easy, so I'm doing it :) That place is necessary for me, but I sure don't see much return out of my efforts. I had a guy try for internet sex there a few years ago. That is about the most interesting thing from the decades I've been a Linker lol.
