Yes, we will celebrate the steemit communitay and have some talks about the future, meet new and old friends and learn from each other.
Many interesting people to meet
Being with the steemit community just 5 month, I don't know many of the wonderful steemians personal. So, I hope that there is enough time to have a chat or even better have some great time at the networking events.
BeerSaturday Speech on Friday
On Friday at 14:00 I will have the fun do give a short presentation about 20 weeks of #BeerSaturday. This started as a funny idea, which I had the other morning under the shower.
Love to have you with me, as I plan to have a Question and Anser at the end to get some feedback about the future of this challenge.

One thing is clear. We will have a LIVE Steemit #BeerSaturday Meeting in Lisbon on Saturday. Until my speech on Friday we will sort out where this place will be.

Good luck on your speech. I hope that SteemFest will bring more quality content to Steemit, otherwise what's the point. If it were just about the money, I'd be better off just buying Steem and other crypto-currencies.

First I don't have the budget. Two I can't leave my girls at home (in my 8 years of Motherhood, I have only left them 3 times)... Unless I can bring them together with me, and that goes back to my first reason...
Ok, so the plan is to have a family steemfest where we all earn the travel cost over the next 10 month.

Yes... Officially my girls are also Steemian, just Daddy isn't... Lol..... My girls shared one account under my eldest daughter's name @halleyleow

it looks like you and I are in the same boat - relative steem newbies who are speaking. I'll be on stage at 16:05 Thursday. I would say your talk looks more exciting than mine. :-)
BTW I've been to Aachen! what a fascinating old place. I particularly liked the wall with the guard towers.
