Unimportant things
I see no reason to stop using Steemit as a diary, regardless of what happens and doesn't happen in the last days and weeks. In the last days, I had the intention of writing about so many things, but the fact is, and I appreciate it, that Steemit teaches me to be silent, in other words, to be wise. Because the important things, as in real life, should not be talked about.
So let's talk about unimportant things then.
You may know that when it comes to any kind of success in life, most of the time it has to do with luck or destiny. Conceited people will tell you that they achieved everything by themselves. But the wise will tell you they were lucky.
Here, for example, is a public figure in Bulgaria. A few days ago, quite by chance, while switching channels, I came across an interview with him, and also by chance, through the journalist's questions, the following became clear in a short time: the man has dyslexia and cannot handle numbers. I mean, he can't count simple things, like 3 by 4. At the same time, this is a famous actor, illusionist, etc., a successful person by Bulgarian standards. So how is it that this man has succeeded in life when he lacks such basic things - he can't read, he can't count? Probably with luck.
And because a handful of people are really very lucky in life they somehow can't understand why other people's things don't work out.
The reason I wrote all this was actually that today, for the second time, I come across the same interview, but in a different media, of a young girl, 28 years old, who talks about her difficulties in finding a job in the country. The interview talks about how difficult it is to start a job in the country at all, as a first job. How hard it is when you don't have a university education, but how hard it is also when you even have a university education. Mainly because it's all about connections, it's not about education, nor skills, nor knowledge, nor potential.
Voilà!
Although the report doesn't directly address my problem, it does address part of it, in fact the root cause.
And even though a handful of people, the lucky ones, cannot see this root cause, and claim that there is no problem in the country because they personally managed to find work without connections, the problem remains.
And it's not just young people who don't have any experience and can't start because they don't have experience, it also affects those like me with experience, education and potential who also can't start, for some inexplicable reasons.
How I started working years ago for the first time is another matter. I was just lucky to find a company on the other side of the country, with semi-criminal bosses who knew that being inexperienced and living on the other side of the country, far from relatives and friends, they would be able to manipulate me to the fullest extent. And that was indeed the case.
Now, from my experience, I can say that the labor market in Bulgaria is highly distorted and abnormal and has always been so. This topic is picked up from time to time and the issues become public for a short time before being buried again among the country's many problems.
But hey, I'm right, my experience is relevant, I'm not an isolated case, people leave the country because they can't find work or find but can't start because of "employers' unrealistic perceptions" about their employees, as mentioned in the report.
So, I am right, this is the news for me, which I hasten to note today in my online diary. 😃 What will happen tomorrow, the day after that, and the day after that, no one can say.
Have a great weekend!

Soul's Detour is a project started by me years ago when I had a blog about historical and not so popular tourist destinations in Eastern Belgium, West Germany and Luxembourg. Nowadays, this blog no longer exists, but I'm still here - passionate about architecture, art and mysteries and eager to share my discoveries and point of view with you. |
Personally, I am a sensitive soul with a strong sense of justice.
Traveling and photography are my greatest passions.
Sounds trivial to you?
No, it's not trivial. Because I still love to travel to not so famous destinations.🗺️
Of course, the current situation does not allow me to do this, but I still find a way to satisfy my hunger for knowledge, new places, beauty and art.
Sometimes you can find the most amazing things even in the backyard of your house.😊🧐🧭|
