Humane and inhumane, another aspect
Can anyone tell me when the medical profession stopped being humane? Or never was? Because of flaws in human nature.
As we already found out from one of the comments under one of my posts, even AI reports that more than 50% of people on earth are evil. And don't tell me that doctors are just people from the other remaining percentage.
Because I can say firsthand that I know people who are not very good people, but they do well in the medical profession and their patients respect them. I also know people who do well in their jobs but they treat their patients terribly and people visit them with fear...
But I never imagined or came to the conclusion of what I have just recently found out.
I already know that in almost all countries there are problems in healthcare. And the problem in most cases comes from the state government of the country - from subsidies to hospitals, salaries of doctors and the entire state policy regarding healthcare.
I always consider the governing body of the country as a separate, almost inanimate object, or rather, devoid of human features, without taking into account that it is formed again by individual people with all their shortcomings.
But things are still different there, because they are formed in a different way, or I simply imagine the state machine as a one-eyed monster that simply gobbles up without giving anything back to the population. 😂
But then comes the population, the individuals who, to a deluded person like me, seemed like they shouldn't lose their human nature.
Right now I'm asking myself questions like: did those prominent doctors in the past, at the beginning of the heyday of medicine, you know, who taught their students in the amphitheatre halls of prominent European universities, performing autopsies, dissecting bodies of dead people in front of everyone, do this solely in the name of science?
Or was there something else? Pleasure or something else?
Right now I'm already doubting everything.
I've already told you that my observations about the country are that there are no good doctors here. They have to be sought out with a magnifying glass, or with connections. And it's sad to hear a politician say on television that he often has to call doctors in the capital to get them to work well for this or that acquaintance of his.
According to him, this means a dysfunctional healthcare system - when someone has to call someone in order for someone else to be served at all or to be served well.
Because, has the state or the individual doctor here already lost their human traits? And is the profession they perform still humane, is it felt as such and is it performed from heart, soul and out of calling?
I've been looking for a new GP for the past few weeks and came across some pretty strange information about doctors on the internet, which opened my eyes to a lot of things, in fact, it turned my ideas about doctors in general upside down.
Famous doctors, extremely active, with multiple offices in different towns, very sought after, one even entered the ranking for doctor of the year, and the other - "covered" many settlement that had lacked a GP for a long time. Both have been investigated and tried for fraud with patient documentation, illegally charging patients, or defrauding the health fund with documents for non-existent patients.
And so behind the apparent activity and motivation, concern for the patient, accepting more and more patients who are physically impossible to serve, every loophole for draining money is actually the main motivator of these so "humane" doctors.
And it's not because they're poorly paid. No. It's just: it's never enough. Especially when you've seen an opportunity that you're quick to take advantage of.
Well, I'm not going to one of those famous doctors, no matter how good they are at their profession.

Nowadays, this blog no longer exists, but I'm still here - passionate about architecture, art and mysteries and eager to share my discoveries and point of view with you. |
Personally, I am a sensitive soul with a strong sense of justice.
Traveling and photography are my greatest passions.
Sounds trivial to you?
No, it's not trivial. Because I still love to travel to not so famous destinations.🗺️
Of course, the current situation does not allow me to do this, but I still find a way to satisfy my hunger for knowledge, new places, beauty and art.
Sometimes you can find the most amazing things even in the backyard of your house.😊🧐🧭|
