I think it is wonderful to be able to play a music instrument and able to sing at the same time. One can simply disappear into one's own world. :-)

If I couldn't sit down and play the "Moonlight Sonata, first movement" when I am very depressed or upset, I would probably be dead by now. Singing songs like "Leader of the band" almost always lead me to tears, but they are the good, cleansing kind of tears.
