Golden orange on an afternoon sky, Raka reclined on a wood bench beside the rice fields. Soft wind blowing, smells of the soil earthen fresh from rain we had this afternoon. He filled his lungs with a deep breath, attempting to center his brain of all different storm clouds.

"Will I succeed?" he whispered under his breath.

Post-college, Raka lived in an environment of gray and fog like everything seemed possible! He had applied around in few companies but not getting answered. Every morning they saw his friends success stories on social media where some have got their dream jobs, some have started companies and even married. Raka had felt so faint.

One afternoon, he was talking with his grandfather on the porch of house. Old man took his time sipping at tea and finally said, “Go with it, son. Nothing is lost. Nothing is in vain.

“But Grandpa…. I mean Im stagnating so much. I hope to be somebody, but idk how," complained Raka~

His grandfather smiled. Life was no easy when I was your age (back then), and neither is it now. What I learned is; we can't control everything in life but we got decide to keep on. Whether you like it or not, enjoy the ride, don't over think results.

Those words echoed in Raka's mind. The next day he rose earlier, was calm beginning the day and descended into not comparing himself to others. He kept going, picked up every random chance that came his way without a lot of weight.

He landed a job — not in big again in your dream company, no but just having a dream job in a small start up full of challenges. He was a little bit nervous to be honest at first, but his grandfather said: “Go Now!”

And the very same place he found a new road to travel in.
