Have you heard of a marketing manager? Marketing managers are responsible for advertising and promoting a company's products or in-house services. The demand for marketing managers is very high due to the emergence of an increasing number of companies and start-ups, increasing the need to conduct market research, implement market strategies, and develop campaigns for the company.

A marketing manager is a professional who implements various marketing strategies to achieve success worldwide. And I am proud to say, I have done that successfully.

The marketing manager, together with the company's market research team and managers employed for product development, is responsible for the design and implementation of the company's future marketing plans. Ideally, this job role requires long-term work in the field of marketing and several years of work experience.

I don't want to surprise you by telling you about myself, but I have a degree in marketing, and welding technology is also in great demand. Every marketing manager needs every piece of information for work-related queries in their job, and I have expertise in this field since I started my career as a sales engineer for the world's number one welding technology company.

Apart from all this, the most important thing I consider as a marketing manager is that our company should be able to reach a wide business audience. This means that I need to focus on every channel so that we can reach our targeted dealers and customers.

As a marketing manager, I reach out to our customers, whether they are from the corporate sector or dealers. It is absolutely necessary that the products or services offered to the customers are of quality and not just the quality that you are keen to sell. Anyway, the job of marketing is to establish the quality of the product, not to sell it.

As a marketing manager, I ensure that any new product or service offered by the company is able to attract more customers as well as effectively meet the needs of its customers.

Although I am not responsible for direct sales, my job as a marketing manager is to develop a strategy that helps increase sales. My job is to identify new opportunities and implement effective strategies to take advantage of them.

I do my best to help the company develop programs that increase profits by reducing costs. My job is to develop and select various marketing strategies that help manage the company's budget effectively.

My main job and core responsibility is to maintain the company's positive image in the eyes of customers. By developing strategic plans to maintain the company's growing reputation as a reliable organization, this professional helps build lasting relationships with existing and potential customers, vendors, and other stakeholders.

So maybe even after my retirement, my company has sent me to this country to develop an effective strategy for building the brand value of our organization. My aim is to build brand awareness, and this I have been doing successfully for the last many years so that our customers can know about our products and services and make informed choices about what they want to buy.

So in conclusion, the first and foremost job of my role is to ensure that our business is able to reach a wider audience, and that means I focus on all possible channels which are responsible for developing new ideas and techniques to help me reach my customers as widely as possible, and I do this job with all my dedication and ethically. And yes, I see that my customers are happy with our service.

I do this job with all my dedication and ethically.

If there’s one thing I can say about Indians working in Nigerians is that they are very dedicated in the jobs. I’ve worked with them in a shopping mall and also in a big hotel. It was actually a funny experience I would share some day but their presence there made a whole lot of difference.

So, I am not surprised, when you mention that you have been successful in building an effective strategy in the new country your boss sent you to

My job calls for setting strategies and implementing them even if people find them tough. Thanks for your personal touch.

You have a degree in Marketing? No wonder you have a rich knowledge and understanding of business. This is a hard nut to crack for most people. But you've been able to share valuable insights consistently. Now, this explains why.

Even before switching to Law, I have always loved and thought of pursuing a career in marketing. I find it fascinating. The ability to find a gap in the market and provide a product or service to cover that.

I believe you spend a chunk of your time doing this always. Would have loved to know the challenges Marketing Managers often encounter just in case I decide to tow this part, right before launching full time into my career.

Meanwhile, I wish you all the best in your endeavours.

It's good to be in marketing if you see a chance to join a big company. I joined as a shift engineer but soon asked my bosses to transfer me in marketing. The result, I was granted unpaid leave to complete PGDMA and come back. I did that and never stopped once I did that.

That's great!
All the best.
