A fricasse from Mr. Monocle
Mr. Monocle proved to be an indispensable assistant when creating artistic photographs. It is not quite suitable or not suitable at all for documentary photography. The monocle captures reality differently from what it appears to our eye. The images lack the usual sharpness and lack detail. All this is important for a chronicle, for documentary or reportage photography.
But Mr. Monocle is not a documentary filmmaker, he is rather an artist. He has his own way of looking at the world. He is an artist and has the right to do so. Where our eye sees only an object (or mostly an object), the Monocle sees the Light that this object reflects. And he captures this light.
As a result of this fixation, we see another world or the same world, but with different eyes. I have already mentioned in the posts that the Monocle loves sunlight, but it also interacts interestingly with night light, which competes with the darkness of the night.
Below I present a collection of photographs from Mr. Monocle. From low key to high key and photos of City lights in the water

It is good to see that we all look with different eyes.

Thanks for stopping by and for the invitation. I'm currently limited in my ability to be active, but I'll be back home soon)
You mention the law on artists... maybe the Google translator made an incorrect translation, but I didn't quite understand what it was about.
It is a law set by an art... When you are allowed to be called an artist and allowed to sell your art.
All the best. 🍀♥️
Hm... I had never heard of such a law. In Russia, you can get a special education and become an artist. But you can just draw and be a self-taught artist. By the way, self-taught people can be better than formal professionals. And if I'm self-taught, and you want to buy my painting from me (like for example), then I don't see any obstacles to that. Maybe there's something I don't know about this issue)
