Learning Linux PBL

Mr.Mac (teacher at Wooranna Park Primary School) needed a new PC for his family to learn about family history, and learn about blockchain! “something simple and fast”

The year 2 Cisco group decided we could get a HP Intel Core 2 desktop to work if they installed some RAM from an old broken PC, and they could make it fast by using a Linux distro. Recently the #coderdojo students had upgraded a PC by installing elementaryOS, so they decided to give that a go!

Earlier in the week at #coderdojo — two Tech Ninjas took it upon themselves to fix a really powerful yoga book that somebody was throwing out, by replacing the SSD and installing elementaryOS — the results were amazing!! (Check out how small the actual SSD is inside the drive!!)
