New on SteemBlockExplorer.com: View all votes on a post with their value and curation reward

in #steemdev7 years ago

I'm happy to announce a new feature for SteemBlockExplorer.com that I have been working on this week.

You can now view all votes on a post including the total value of the upvote and the (pending) curation reward.

You can sort the votes by:

  • Date & time
  • Vote value
  • Accountname
  • Reputation

New upvotes will appear in realtime if you have selected the "Auto update" feature in the top left on the webpage.

Above the latest votes you see the source code of the post.

How to use it:

  • Visit https://steemblockexplorer.com
  • Search for your username on top.
  • Click on a post you voted for to view your pending curation reward.
  • Click on your own post to see who upvoted you and what each vote is worth.
  • Click on a post of a curation reward you received to review your upvote. This may be helpful to analyze your votes and help you to become a better curator.

I hope this new feature is useful... Enjoy :)

This is a pretty amazing stuff @penguinpablo. Thanks for developing this tool. It's useful in a variety of ways.

This is one of the best steem tool that I've ever come across.

I use it to run statistical analysis on my account and other steemit accounts and the results is always impressive.

This new additional feature will even make the tool more better and I'll be able to utilize it effectively.

My first target: Use the tool to track reward pool rapers.

Thanks @penguinpablo for your continuous development on this tool. We truly appreciate your time and effort on it.

Happy Steeming

How do define "reward pool rapers?" I'm very interested to know since I have heard this phrase a lot.

He's talking about people who make crappy 2 or 3 line posts and then upvote themselves through shill accounts.

I saw a guy post two or three posts a day containing 2 lines of gobbledy gook a day, I mean, it had zero meaning, just a bunch of words. He had enough SP to give himself a $20 upvote for each of those posts.

Steemit works via reward pool, so 64,000 Steem is allocated via the blockchain to Steemit users each day. Our votes decide who gets what percentage of that pool, ergo people like our man that I referenced above is draining that pool with his crappy posts and high SP votes.

I think drainers is probably a better term, it makes more grammatical sense methinks! :-)

Oh, I see what you mean. I notice those posts sometimes. I use steemengine and steemfollower and sometimes the feeds I see are like that. Just someone else's meme or video. Very annoying!

Thanks for the upvotes today. I really appreciate that.

Yes very annoying! :-#

My pleasure, love your posts, please keep 'em coming! :-)

I'm trying! Keeping those balls in the air!

Verified: it does not show the real voting quota.
Always appears as 100%.
This is a steemdb type of shit, but at least steemdb has some functionality without Javascript.
