RE: Testing Delivery Of A Facebook Ad Campagin

in #steemcreate7 years ago

I like it, however I wish there was a way to not talk about the credit card. Sometimes when I talk to people about steem, they think it is a scam. I then tell them it is free and they never have to put any money in. It usually suppresses their worries.

I wonder if there is a group of people that view this as a scam.... And I also wonder how big that group is....

Sort:

It should be possible to circumvent the credit card issue if SteemCreate highlights enough success stories of Steemians who actually share how Steem impacts their life and how they managed to pay bills thanks to Steem.

Or enough financial high roller stories when targeting a demographic with higher disposable income. Facebook ads are most efficient if highly targeted and tailor to the specific demographic.

Yeah the credit card makes some people wary, but it should. People should be researching what Steem is before diving in expecting to make a ton of money right away.

Steem accounts require 6 Steem or about 27 Steem Power in delegation to be created. Therefore, they carry a real cost and are not free. Hopefully HF20 makes things a bit easier, but there will always be a cost associated with account creation to prevent from having the proliferation of spammers and scammers get created.

So far, conversion rates are fair on the website, and I only just began marketing it. I think users are put to ease by the website and its explanation to proceed with a small purchase (investment).
