Water is a vital liquid necessary for life on the planet. It is the main thermoregulatory agent of the body, allows to achieve a temperature balance throughout the body. Our organism, and of any other living being, needs water to function normally, since both the biochemical reactions and the adequate transport of the substances take place in aqueous solution. In addition, water constitutes at least two thirds of the human body. Definition quoted from

The vital liquid is also used for our personal hygiene and the items or tools used in each routine activity. Frequently in the Bible Water is a symbol of God's blessing and spiritual refreshment.
Water is used in baptism to represent the cleansing of our sins and the public recognition that we voluntarily decide to die to the old ways and be a new person in Jesus Christ. Its water breaks with our sinful nature.
St. John 4: 13 "Jesus answered and said: Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again;"
St. John 4:14 "But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst for ever: but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up to eternal life."
St. John 6:35 "And Jesus said to them, I am the bread of life: he who comes to me will never hunger, and whoever believes in me will never thirst."
Our life is transformed, restored and healed by Jesus Christ, he brings that balm we so longed for. Fill that void that was in our life. And it calms our anxieties and anxieties for vanities.
Once we know the Lord we become dependent on him, we appreciate every test or blessing received.
Just as the living being can not live without water in the same way we can not live without Jesus in our hearts.
