STEEMCHURCH: The cracked glass and the perfect glass
The cracked glass and the perfect glass.
Awater charger from India had two large vessels that put the ends of a stick that he carried over his shoulders. One of the glasses had a crack, while the other was perfect and delivered the complete water at the end of the long walk, from the stream, to the house of his employer.
When they arrived, the division of the boat contained only half the water. For two full years this was so daily.
First, the perfect vessel was very proud of the results. It was perfect for the purposes for which it had been created.
But the poor cracked glass was very ashamed of his own imperfection and he felt miserable because he could only get half of what he was supposed to do. After two years, he spoke to the water carrier, saying: "I am ashamed of myself and I want to apologize to you" ... "why?" The waterman asked him.
"Because of my cracks, you can only deliver half of my load, because of my cracks, you only get half the value of what you should."
The waterman was very moved by the glass and with great compassion said: "when we return to the house of the boss, I want you to notice the beautiful flowers that grow along the cumin".
He did so and, in fact, he saw many flowers along the way, but in any case he felt very sad because in the end he only carried half his load. The water carrier said to him: "Do you realize that flowers only grow on the side of your path? I have always known about your cracks and I wanted to take advantage of them, planted flower seeds along the entire way where you you go and every day you have watered them, for two years I have been able to pick up these flowers to decorate the altar of my Master, if it were not exactly as you are, He would not have had that beauty on your table.
Life's lesson:
And you ? Have you also found that you no longer have any value? God has used crazy and weak things to confuse the wise and strong. 1 Co. 1.27-29.
We all have an area of our lives that we have been ashamed of at some time, and we believe that we can not move forward and grow, believing that God can not use us for great things.
Today I want to tell you that God does not see our imperfections, and that He loves us with our faults and virtues, because that imperfection that we see as an obstacle, He only sees it as a channel for Him to glorify Himself in our lives.
God knows we are imperfect, so he trys to help us maintain the right way and guide us. He also forgives sinners that shows signs of repentance. Imagine someone doing something wrong, then God forgives him. And yet he continues to do that same wrong thing several times and ask for forgiveness. That does not show genuine repentance.
The team at COMMUNITY NEWS was about to say the same thing Jaff8. God very much see our imperfections - he created them. He created them for a grand and glorious reason.
Ironically enough it was this imperfection in an otherwise flawless tale by Roseri that has brought about this conversation on this day. No doubt others will join in soon.
Great post Roseri.
