STEEMCHURCH DEVOTION-ENDURE HARDNESS AS A SOLDIER
Paul wrote to the church at Philippi about Epaphroditus who nearly died risking his life because of the work of ministry. You have only gone 3 days without good meals and you're already questioning your call into the ministry. You have changed your mind several times this year alone whether or not to continue pastoring because you could not raise money to pay for church's rent. How about risking your life when you can't even risk an empty belly?
A minister of the gospel is a soldier, he must endure hardness. It is part of the deal. Hardness is not hardship. Hardness is training, Hardship is suffering. If there's hardship of whatsoever, simply work or release your faith for God's supply.
But Alas! While in training, we must be wise and patient in the hands of him who gives and also withholds. We must learn to love the hands that disciplines, and be at peace with whatever pleases Him. Every good product is first tested before the unveiling. All He requires from you is faithfulness ... He makes all things perfect and sufficient in His time.
Glory to His name, even us!
