RE-INCARNATION, BORN-AGAIN, NEW BODY OF CHRIST.

in #steemchurch6 years ago

Why Christ does not return with a 2,020-year-old body containing the crucifixion scars!

Apart from the fact, a two-thousand-year-old body would be extremely worn out, wrinkled and decayed!

Gen 6:3 And Yahweh said: 'My spirit shall not abide in man for ever, for that he also is flesh; therefore shall his days be a hundred and twenty years.’

Reincarnation is biblical, it is a Spirit returning to a new body.

John the Baptist is Elijah Born Again!

Mat 11:13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John:
Mat 11:14 And if you will receive it, he is Elijah that is to come.
Mat 11:15 He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

John the Baptist, who was the Prophet Elijah of old, was born-again just prior to Yeshua's birth. When Elijah returns in the end of days, it will obviously not be with the same headless body, as John died by decapitation. Each time an El returns, it is with a new body born-again.

From the Word of God:

You Must Be Born Again!

Joh 3:3 Yeshua answered and said to him: Amen, amen, I say to thee, unless a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Joh 3:4 Nicodemus saith to him: How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born again?
Joh 3:5 Yeshua answered: Amen, amen, I say to thee, unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Ghost, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Joh 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh: and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Joh 3:7 Wonder not that I said to thee: You must be born again.
Joh 3:8 The Spirit breatheth where he will and thou hearest his voice: but thou knowest not whence he cometh and whither he goeth. So is every one that is born of the Spirit.

Ancient cultures often hinted at some of the divine returning... It makes perfect sense in the grand scheme of things.

It's a fascinating concept.

Reincarnation is incredible. The soul is eternal and many have returned!

The Bible has messages of reincarnation hidden within it. Even deeper things were removed on it!

Elias saw no death was snatched in a chariot of fire.

I do not share the theory of the recarnation, if that of the resurrection theory.

But some one will say, How are the dead raised? and with what manner of body do they come? Thou foolish one, that which thou thyself sowest is not quickened except it die: and that which thou sowest, thou sowest not the body that shall be, but a bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other kind; 38 but God giveth it a body even as it pleased him, and to each seed a body of its own. 39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one flesh of men, and another flesh of beasts, and another flesh of birds, and another of fishes. There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. 41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differeth from another star in glory. 42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: 43 it is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: 44 it is sown a [a]natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a [b]natural body, there is also a spiritual body.
1 Corinthians 15:35-44 American Standard Version

Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. 14 For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. 15 According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words.
1 Thessalonians 4 New International Version (NIV)

“Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice 29 and come out—those who have done what is good will rise to live, and those who have done what is evil will rise to be condemned.
John 5:28-29 New International Version (NIV)

my intention is not to refute about the recarnation but to bring it to the knowledge of the truth through the light of the word of God that your and I read.

God bless you greatly.

Firstly, Elias is a poor translation of the proper name Elijah, now who did Christ say was Elijah come again?Hint, he was born just before Christ, was His cousin, and also known as the Baptist?

2 Kings 2:11 Good News Translation (GNT)
11 They kept talking as they walked on; then suddenly a chariot of fire pulled by horses of fire came between them, and Elijah was taken up to heaven by a whirlwind.

To heaven???

John 3:13 Good News Translation (GNT)
13 And no one has ever gone up to heaven except the Son of Man, who came down from heaven.

According to 2 Chronicles 21: 10-13, Elijah was still alive a generation later.

2 Chronicles 21:10-13 Good News Translation (GNT)

10 Edom has been independent of[a] Judah ever since. During this same period the city of Libnah also revolted, because Jehoram had abandoned the Lord, the God of his ancestors. 11 He even built pagan places of worship in the Judean highlands and led the people of Judah and Jerusalem to sin against the Lord.

12 The prophet Elijah sent Jehoram a letter, which read as follows: “The Lord, the God of your ancestor David, condemns you, because you did not follow the example of your father, King Jehoshaphat, or that of your grandfather, King Asa. 13 Instead, you have followed the example of the kings of Israel and have led the people of Judah and Jerusalem into being unfaithful to God, just as Ahab and his successors led Israel into unfaithfulness. You even murdered your brothers, who were better men than you are.
