Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our Sorrows!
Wounded for our Transgressions!
Behold, my servant shall prosper, he shall be exalted and lifted up, and shall be very high. As many were astonished at him— his appearance was so marred, beyond human semblance, and his form beyond that of the sons of men—so shall he startle many nations; kings shall shut their mouths because of him; for that which has not been told them they shall see, and that which they have not heard they shall understand. (Isaiah 52:13—53:12)
...Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, struck down by God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that made us whole, and with his stripes we are healed.
God bruised Him for our sake!
...Yet it was the will of the Lord to bruise him; he has put him to grief; when he makes himself an offering for sin, he shall see his offspring, he shall prolong his days; the will of the Lord shall prosper in his hand; he shall see the fruit of the travail of his soul and be satisfied; by his knowledge shall the righteous one, my servant, make many to be accounted righteous and he shall bear their iniquities...because he poured out his soul to death, and was numbered with the transgressors; yet he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
We must say in faith, in absolute trust in God for his Son has done so greater things for us, we must say:
Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!
Draw near to the throne of Grace
(Hebrews 4:14-16; 5:7-9) Paul inspired the Hebrews community, that we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.
For we have not a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sinning. We have been called upon to draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
The Main Ingredient!
The Servant of God in Isaiah's prophecy would suffer untold persecution and death, although he had done no wrong himself to deserve such treatment. His suffering would be a vicarious one for others. When Jesus was tried, tortured and crucified, he did not suffer and die in vain. His suffering was sinful humanity, who should have suffered and died for their transgressions. It pleased God that His own Son, like the Suffering Servant, should suffer and die in place of humanity. Thanks to the suffering and death of the Son of God, humanity has been spared. He won salvation for us by this suffering and death. He is the throne of grace for anyone who draws near to him. Such a person will receive mercy and grace in time of need. He will receive salvation, and never see death.
Isaiah 53:3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. 53:4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
These are deep words that we must reflect upon.
This proves Christ immeasurable love for humanity especially our redemption from eternal death and damnation, which glued us to slavery of sins. Thank u Christ, humanity is ever greatful, to you we owe the wonder of our beings and our existence. Stay blessed!

@STEEMCHURCH
Thanks for sharing @pinheiroemmanuel. Upon him was the chatisement that made us whole and by Jesus' stripes, we are healed. It was through this sacrificial offering that Grace was made available to us.
That is a deep message dear. Thanks for propagating the gospel on steemchurch.
What a wonderful work Jesus wroth on the cross for the whole wide world, the devil was defeated and has remained so,our sins was washed away by his precious blood, Glory to Jesus.
Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of our sins,we should do well to connect and believe in God's son that he died for us all redeeming our souls back to God,an amazing fact we all ought to know is that our redeemer lives,he died and was resurrected back on the third day. Our God is wonderful
He took every pain for us ,from his unimagenable love.
It is left for you to give him your heart to recieve salvation. Through his blood which he shades for you
All our iniquities are gone he has brought us peace through His death .
For those who believe in him never lacks .
It is left for you to give him your heart to recieve salvatio. Through his blood which he shades for you
God has really finished everything, we all need to Serve him now, not to place more sorrow on Him and waste His effort.
Great post
He was wounded for our sins.......and by his stripes we are healed.I love this part."When Jesus was tried, tortured and crucified, he did not suffer and die in vain. His suffering was sinful humanity, who should have suffered and died for their transgressions. It pleased God that His own Son, like the Suffering Servant, should suffer and die in place of humanity. "But for the sake of thr gospel,God didnt bruise Him but God let Jesus be bruised for our sake. Thanks
Nice one mate @pinheiroemmanuel. It is for all for our sake that He suffered, crucified and died and was buried so that by resurrection he destroyed death and restored our lives. Thumbs up mate.
