SUMMARY OF MATTHEW 6:1-4

Matthew 6:1-4
But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth. Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

It mean whenever you do good or help someone either with money, cloth e.t.c. just do it with the heart of love and never let anyone knows that you've just help a man.

That is some people claim to help but they will be the one to tell others saying" you see that brother or sister I am the one that help her or him in time of difficulties" and by saying that or doing that, they have received their reward according to the scripture.

Some people help so that they can be known, so that they can receive reward from people.

So as a believer who truly know Christ and love Him, He is telling us that even though it's garri you give your neighbor never allow anybody to know about.
