Noble Planning

Proverbs 16 vs 3

Commit to the LORD whatever you do,
and he will establish your plans. In recent times we have been made aware of how plans can change suddenly.

There were certainly plans changed in view of terrorist attacks not only did individuals find themselves having to change their plans, but also thousands of lives were suddenly snuffed out. It disrupted air travel, shut down the markets and changed the way government went about its business, not just at the venue of the attack, but all over the world.
So how can it be said, “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed?”

Living with an attitude of “If the Lord wills" changes our perspective on everything.
With this attitude we are more likely to set our plans according to the Lord's agenda than our own, and if things should change, we are not defeated in our plans.
In fact plans that would be considered a total failure by most, to the Christian living by this perspective there is the realization that the change in his plans is merely a part of God's plans and he is still successful. This is not successful planning based on the amount of money earned or the position gained, but rather on the basis of a will surrendered to the will of God, whatever it may be.

Everything we do should be aligned with God's plan, carried away with my own plans. Seek His will rather than your own and He shall grant you wisdom and strength.

If you really want to plan according to God's will, you need to trust Him and know His plans are always better and bigger.
If you live by faith in God's plan you will be blessed amongst other men with so much grace and infinite love.

Our planning may look different from God's will because of the prospects they attract in certain aspects hence we begin to gain self confidence from siding with a world power, when we start succeeding we often forget the master architect behind our success.

We begin to reject God and his plans subconsciously, we start relying on things around us to support our plans, forgetting that God is the ultimate planner.

God makes it very clear that our plans and our attempts to combatting impending problems are utter foolishness in light of His greater purpose.

We should all strive to have noble plans.

But the noble man devises noble plans; And by noble plans he stands. (Isaiah 32.8).

Noble men trust in God alone and their noble plans transcend time.

Their plan will testify to God's faithfulness in heaven.
