It is not a coincidence that this is the second post I am reading on seeing the other side of the world we live in. The first is @thatindianlady post about two poor children in a town in India followed by your post. This exposure will make each and every one of us to be more greatful to God for the privilege we have. The truth is we are no different from those on the other side, we only enjoy grace.

Regarding your submission on hard work, yes! It pays to work hard but it is more profitable to work smart. Working smart collaborates your hard work and turn it to success. Most successful people does not only work hard, they combine it with working smart. My mentor once said;

Your success in life is dependent on the kind of work or service you are rendering, the kind of people you are rendering the work or service to and how difficult it is to find a replacement for you.

That my friend is what I called working smart.
