A few things to consider before marriage.
Transformation. You cannot marry the person God has not changed. “And be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God” (Romans 12:2)
Information and revelation.“Study to show thyself approved unto God” (2 Timothy 2:15). What you know determines the results you will get in life. Read books and study your Bible about marriage. Gather as much information about marriage before you get into one.
Preparation of heart and body. “The preparation of the heart in man and the answers of the tongue is from the Lord” (Proverbs 16:1).
Beloved, there are steps you must take to guarantee a successful marriage. Pray for God to transform your mind, study to show yourself approved in the area of marriage and get counsel from your spiritual parents in the Lord, and if you are mature for marriage, get married.
