Let us put the word of God into practice
Today we have God's recommendation to put into practice everything we have received, everything we have learned from people who follow in God's footsteps. Here it is not just about knowing or hearing some words, here he urges us to live the word of God daily with concrete attitude and actions.
Paul reminds us that when we apply the divine principles established in the word of God we will not only experience the peace of God but that God will fill us and sustain us with his presence in our lives. This is a call to be consistent between what we say and what we do and to be fully confident that God will always accompany us.
What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, do these things; and the God of peace will be with you.
