Let us have a generous heart.
Today we see in this reflection a super powerful principle, this consists in that when we help those in need we are actually doing not only an act of service to that person but a service to God. It is not only some generous action, this is a spiritual investment even if you do not believe it. God rewards that caring heart with blessings.
This text reminds us that every day no act of service and kindness goes unnoticed in the eyes of God. There are times when no person values what we do but God does see it and above all takes it into account to return in blessing every good action that we do.
This invites us to have a generous heart trusting that God will never leave us lacking anything and much less what is necessary when we are compassionate with other people.
He who gives to the poor lends to the Lord,
And the good that he has done, he will return it to him.
Proverbs 19:17
