Keep going, don't stop.
In today's word we find a powerful motivation for those who work with faith in God and perseverance. Here the prophet Assariah gives this message to King Asa and the people of Judah at a time when they needed to renew their commitment to God.
Here we learn that following God and doing things the right way is not easy, but God calls us to remain firm. We recognize that there are certain moments when we may feel discouraged or too tired, but this verse reminds us that we should not stay on the path, we must continue forward.
Everything we do now through faith and commitment to God has a purpose and a reward, that is assured. Although many times we do not see the results immediately, God is attentive and will honor our faithfulness and commitment.
Even when we are immersed in difficulties, this message reminds us that God supports us in all things. It does not matter if the path we are traveling is very difficult because if we remain faithful God will sustain us and reward us.
If you are feeling exhausted today or have a lot of doubt about whether the effort you are making is worth it, I invite you to remember that God takes into account every step we take, every tear we shed. That is why I urge you to walk with faith because God has a reward for those who persevere.
But be strong, and do not let your hands be weak, for your work will be rewarded.
