If God is for us...
Today, God gives us this promise of great value and power. It reminds us that when we face difficulties, attacks, or even opposition, we should not fear them. God assures us through His word; He promises that no weapon, no matter how strong it may seem, has power over us.
Life often presents us with different challenges in which we may feel very vulnerable, but that is where we must remember this verse, which gives us certainty and complete confidence that God is for us and will defend us.
Let us keep in mind that God is not only there to protect us physically; God protects us spiritually and emotionally. God's justice will appease criticism or slander against us. We can only rest assured by trusting in God. God invites us to rest in His power and sufficiency for all our needs, His protection. If God is with us, who can be against us?
No weapon formed against you will prosper, and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness comes from me," declares the Lord.
