I can do ALL things through Christ!!

If there's one verse that's well-known and most repeated, it's this one. It's also one of the most powerful when we fully understand its meaning.
We must keep in mind that this verse isn't a magic phrase that says, "If we repeat it, everything will be fine." It doesn't mean, "I can do all things," as if I were a superstar, that I'm the best, and no one can surpass me. This "I can do all things" means that I'm not alone, and with Christ, I can face whatever comes my way.
We see that this text was written by someone who was locked up, imprisoned in jail in one of the worst situations a human being can experience. Yet, Paul said he was content, whether in scarcity or abundance, in calm or in trials, because it was simply Christ who strengthened him. In Christ, we find strength.
Do you remember how many times you felt tired, frustrated, or downright lacking in desire because things didn't go as planned? Sometimes the burden seems very heavy, but that's where we can apply this verse, since it doesn't depend solely on our own strength. When we place our faith and strength in Christ, we discover an inexhaustible source and a peace that has little to do with circumstances or the peace the world gives us. Do you want to experience this unshakable strength?
13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
