God is in control
If God reminds us that as children of God it is necessary that we live guided by the Holy Spirit and not let ourselves be carried away by the desires or impulses of the flesh that generally distance us from Him. It is not about living avoiding evil but about filling our lives with all the good that comes from God such as love, faith, patience and self-control.
Today we live in a world where everything is immediate, including momentary pleasure, I have called to walk in the spirit challenges us to be patient since it is a promise that awaits us. If we follow the advice and guidance of God we will have peace and satisfaction in everything we do since our strength does not come from ourselves, strength comes from God when we place our faith and control in Him, He transforms us completely.
I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you will not fulfill the desires of the flesh.
