Even what was rejected God can use.

Today, God reminds us that He doesn't see how we see. God's perspective is different in many ways from ours. Many times in life, we may feel overlooked; we often feel unappreciated or misunderstood.
We are often the ones who disqualify ourselves or simply dismiss ourselves because we believe we are not good enough, prepared enough, or worthy enough for God to look upon us or simply extend His hand to us.
Let us remember Jesus, who was the stone rejected by men, and as a stone, later became the cornerstone of everything. This means that God can transform in very radical ways. God can transform anyone who was ignored by someone or something at the center of the universe. God does not reject or discard anyone. If at any time you felt rejected or discarded, this passage invites us not to believe that it is the end of the story, since God sees far beyond what we see—the purpose for us, even if others don't. God can make that which seemed lost become key to His entire plan.
I invite you not to be defined by the rejection you may receive or by past mistakes; God always has the final word. There is a process we must go through, and if there is something that hurts deeply, it may be what shapes us tomorrow.
Have you not even read this Scripture: "The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone"?
Mark 12:10
